Elina Svitolina is the only unseeded player left in the draw; the youngster has absolutely nothing to lose in this match, which could work in her favour. Svitolina arrived in Cincinnati fresh off defending her title in Baku and is currently on an eight match-winning streak. Svitolina’s victory over Kvitova was the 19 year olds first victory over a top 10 player.
